Greystone Film and
Television
North Hollywood, CA
15,000 square feet

The new offices for Greystone Film and Television, a
documentary production company, include 12,000 square
feet of office and 3,000 square feet of production space.
In response to the client’s desire to occupy a progressive
space as a counter balance to the historic nature of their
work, Scott Profeta, while at HLW, created a
contemporary blend of traditional and industrial materials.
The Gallery walls consist of finished maple veneer panels
suspended from roughly milled steel angles. The
reception and gallery floors are covered with hot rolled
steel sheets secured with industrial fasteners. The
exposed mechanical system in the open ceiling are
partially obscured by up-lit canvas sails above each
workstation.
